As part of continuous network improvement, CommsChoice will be upgrading some of Singapore core network infrastructure to enhance security and ensure reliability of your service. The upgrade to infrastructure will add new features including optimizing the networking topology. The upgrade will involve adding new infrastructure and decommissioning legacy infrastructure.
*** Timeline of events:
- From 13/12/19 to 03/01/2019 – CommsChoice Engineering team will commence fault and stress testing the new network equipment. - From 06/01/2020 – You will need to whitelist the new IPs. Once whitelisted, you will be able to make and receive calls as per previous setup. Please whitelist the following public IPs: 126.96.36.199:5060 188.8.131.52:5060 For cross connect setups, you will need to set up a static route to the new IP addresses listed below. CommsChoice engineers will be in contact to help you manage the transition to the new network. 172.23.23.22:5060 172.29.29.28:5060 - Between 06/01/2020 to 31/01/2020 – You are required to test the new network to ensure connectivity is fully operational. - On 01/02/2020 – If no issues are reported during the customer testing period, CommsChoice will decommission the legacy equipment (Note: this is subjected to be changed).
*** Required actions:
- You are required to whitelist the new IPs anytime starting from 06/01/2020 to 31/01/2020 and produce traffic to the new SBCs. Any issues encountered during this period should be reported directly to the support team. - For cross connect setups, you will need to set up a static route to the new IP address. CommsChoice engineers will be in contact to help you manage the transition to the new network.
